We build our own products, and we take on two outside builds at a time. Websites, apps, automations, and the systems underneath them — designed to still be working in three years, not just to launch well.
Every enquiry is read by the person who would do the work.

Qualify
You send the form. We read it ourselves and reply within two business days — either with a call slot or an honest no with a pointer somewhere better.

Scope
One working session to pin down what actually needs to exist. You leave with a written scope, a fixed price, and a phase plan whether or not you hire us.

Build
Weekly shipped increments against a live environment. No status theatre — you see the real thing as it becomes real.

Hand over
Code, accounts, and documentation transferred to you. Optional ongoing maintenance if you would rather not carry it.

What kind of work does Black Stone Row take on?
Websites, iOS and web applications, internal tools, automations, and the brand systems around them. We take the whole thing — strategy, design, build, and launch — rather than slotting into an existing team as extra hands.
How many projects do you take at once?
Two. We run our own products alongside client work, so capacity is deliberately capped. That is also why we qualify carefully before starting a conversation.
What does a project cost?
Most engagements land between $5k and $40k depending on scope, integrations, and whether we are also building the brand. We quote a fixed price per phase after a scoping call, so there are no hourly surprises.
How long does a build take?
A focused marketing site is typically two to four weeks. A production app or internal system is usually six to twelve weeks, shipped in phases so something real is usable early.
Do you keep working on it after launch?
Optionally. We hand over full ownership of the code and accounts either way. If you want us maintaining and improving it, we do that on a monthly basis with a clear scope.
